BCA's Education & Research Specialist Magda Mankel will speak about an ongoing historical archaeology project at Ruby, Arizona. This is a project spearheaded by Dr. Haeden Stewart in collaboration with the Undocumented Migration Project. Learn about the basic principles of historical archaeology and the role that archaeologists play as advocates for contemporary social justice issues. The video presentation will feature an interview with Dr. Stewart which focuses on his current work at the historic mining town of Ruby.
