Description

The relationship between the United States and Mexico has a long and difficult history but in recent decades, the story of our two countries is more interwoven than ever before. Hispanic Americans now compose the largest minority population in the US. Family ties and cultural shifts have brought us closer together in many ways. While tensions about immigration policies, jobs and drug trade continue, the fact is that Mexico is emerging as an economic powerhouse, our #3 trade partner with an economy ranked #15 in the world. Because so many of us in the US know little about Mexico's history and its more recent development, this breakfast forum is a great opportunity to come and learn.
